VSL homepage

The VSL home page provides a summary of the main information and actions available for managing your video. Here we'll explain all the features available on it.


To access the VLS home page, simply follow these steps:


1. Access your account
Log in to StrapCast and go to the main panel.


**2. Go to the “VSL” tab **
In the side menu, click on “VSL” to access the area where your files will be stored.



3. You will find the page containing all your VSL

  • **Import VSLs: **Upload new VSLs to the platform. If you have any doubts, see this article How to upload your VSL


  • **Sort: **Sort your VSLs according to different criteria, such as creation date or title.


  • Filters: Apply filters to find specific VSLs more quickly. When you click on filters it will open in the sidebar, where you can configure them.


  • Create Folder: Group your videos into folders for better organization.


First, click on “Create Folder” and create a folder.



Once the folder has been created, simply drag your desired VSL to the desired folder or select the VSLs you want to place in the folder and click on “Move selected”



And choose which folder your VSLs will go to. “Move to root” goes to the root where your VSLs are when you upload, now if you select a folder, just click ‘Move’ and it will be moved to the desired folder.

4. Select the desired VSL
Click on the VSL you want to analyze

5. Finally, you'll be on the VSL homepage you want

Edit VSL


Allows you to modify the content of your video, including adjustments to the title, description and other relevant settings. If you want to find out more, check out this article: Complete Guide: Editing VSL



2. Analytics


Displays detailed metrics on the performance of your VSL, such as audience retention, average viewing time and viewer engagement. If you want to find out more, check out this article: Understanding VSL Analytics


3. Embed Code


Provides code that can be embedded in websites and landing pages, making it easier to display the VSL on different platforms.



4. Download


It allows you to download the video in its original format, useful for archiving or sharing on other channels.



Statistics


  • Views: Indicates how many times the VSL has been loaded on the user's screen.



  • Plays: Shows how many times the video was actually started. The difference between views and plays can indicate whether visitors are interacting with the content.



  • Time: Represents the total duration of your VSL.



  • Size: Displays the weight of the video file, relevant for optimizations and loading on different devices.



  • Created on: Shows the date the VSL was added to the platform.
