Security - Allowed Domains

The Security section allows you to control which domains can embed your videos and VSLs. This feature protects your content from unauthorized use and ensures that it is only displayed on permitted sites.

To access the Security section, simply follow these steps:

1. Access your account
Log in to StrapCast and go to the main panel.

**2. Go to the “Security” tab **
In the side menu, click on “Security” to access the section on Allowed Domains.

And now you will be able to see the information from the Security Section.

Domain Restriction - What is it?

Domain Restriction prevents your videos from being embedded on unauthorized sites. This way, even if someone tries to add your video to an external site, playback will be blocked if the domain is not on your allowed list.

Enable or Disable Domain Restriction

  • *Enable Domain Restriction **(Checked)*
✔ Only domains added to the list will be able to embed your videos.

  • Disable Domain Restriction (Unchecked)
❌ Any website can embed and play your videos without restrictions.

If the option is not activated, anyone will be able to use your video on any site, so it is recommended to activate it if you want to restrict access.

How to add a permitted domain?

1. In the “Add Domain” field, enter the address of the website where the video can be embedded and click on the “+” to add it.

2. The domain will be listed in the “Allowed Domains” area.

3. After adding all the desired domains, click “Save Changes” to confirm.

Example: If you add w3schools.com, your videos can only be embedded on that site.

Remove a Domain

To remove a domain from the allowed list, simply click on the delete button next to its name.

🔐 Keep your videos safe and only share them where you need to!
